Milwaukee firefighters' union leader to retire

Bobbie Webber, the president of the union that represents Milwaukee firefighters, will retire effective Jan. 22, according to a news release Tuesday from the union.Webber has been the president of the Professional Firefighters Association Local 215 for three years.The union has battled efforts by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett to trim fire department staffing throughout Webber's tenure as president.
