2nd prominent lawyer retained in WFB drug case

A second prominent Milwaukee defense attorney could be representing one of the defendants in the drug overdose death of Madison Kiefer, a 15-year-old Whitefish Bay High School freshman.Both Matthew Laughrin and his father, Richard Laughrin, had been represented by public defenders after being charged with felonies.Police say Matthew Laughrin gave Kiefer drugs on the night before she died and that, the next morning, he and Richard Laughrin drove her from Matthew Laughrin's Whitefish Bay home to the Whitefish Bay home of one of Kiefer's friends.
