The Brewers had a 48-54 record when they traded Carlos Lee to Texas. They are 12-11 since. Reliever Francisco Cordero, one of the players acquired for Lee, has converted 10 of 10 save opportunities and hasn't allowed a run in 13 appearances (12 2/3 innings).

(The Brewers also have a 6-5 record since benching veteran rightfielder Geoff Jenkins).
